All you need to know about aerial Earth observation... - 2005 - GIS Professional (3) March/April 2005, 26-29(4) .
Surveys recent developments in and current options for airborne earth observation including traditional photogrammetric aerial photography, integrated vertical/oblique imaging and Lidar, which provides very accurate height data. Concludes that entirely digital workflows will more than likely become the norm as existing analogue technology stops being produced, although it will require heavy investment by mapping companies.
