Summarises the main changes to the Building Regulations 2000 Approved Document E (2003 Edition), which came into force 1 July 2003 and 1 July 2004. Changes include the introduction of pre-completion testing and robust details. The new requirements contain a package of measures intended to improve the acoustic conditions in dwellings and schools.
