Gives details about the Information and Consultation of Employees Regulations 2004 which will be phased in initially for UK firms with 150 or more employees. It will give employees new rights to be informed and consulted on an ongoing basis about management decisions which affect them. The legislation is a change to the UK's traditional usual approach to employee consultation as it envisages discussions taking place on a more regular basis than is currently the case.
