Examines the proposed changes to the Building Regulations 2000 Approved Documents L1 and L2 (2002 edition). These Approved Documents deal with the conservation of fuel and power so changes could affect the way buildings are designed, as there will be a need to examine alternative energy sources, better insulation and different heating systems. This would affect development feasibility calculations as construction costs could rise and some buildings that have been designed may not be able to be built as previously planned.
