In "The future of cohesion policy" Vincent Nadin and Stefanie Dühr look at the proposed changes in the arrangements for the structural funds for the programming period commencing in 2007. This is when the current nine separate objectives or categories of funding support will be reduced to three: convergence; regional competitiveness and employment; and territorial co-operation. Provides a table of the main changes in EU cohesion policy. "Territorial cohesion and the UK presidency" by the same authors considers the territorial cohesion objective as the UK prepares to take on the EU presidency in the second half of 2005. Notes.
