The government is planning to go ahead with a white paper to introduce more flexibility into the legal profession. This would enable construction consultancies to become one-stop-shops to offer their clients legal advice but cautions that it unlikely that consultancies would wish to do this. Problem could occur with contractors trying to sell legal advice to third parties as they would be wary of buying information from a competitor.
