Southampton Institute has suspended new student admissions to the BA(Hons) Fine Arts Valuation degree during an internal review of its Faculty of Media, Arts and Society. However, with RICS support, the Institute is optimistic that the main academic route into the auction profession will return in October 2006 with a new syllabus tailored to the 21st century market.
