Discusses the case, "William Verry (Glazing Systems) Ltd v Furlong Homes Ltd" (L130436). The case involved an adjudication into a dispute over extension of time. Verry had submitted a claim in writing but had changed the date slightly. F argued that this was a new claim but the court decided that it was a refinement or enhancement of their original claim. Even if the extension of time claim was a new one, it formed part of the dispute which was referred by F and V were entitled to rely upon it in an adjudication.
