Achieving payment from adjudication referrals

Achieving payment from adjudication referrals - 2005 - Contract Journal 429(6536) 3 August 2005, 38(1) .

Discusses the case "Geris Handelsgesellschaft GmbH v Les Construction Industrielles de la Mediterrannee SA" (HC, unreported) which considered the difficulties that may arise when adjudicators fail to decide the overall amount to be paid by one party to the other. The implication from this case is that an adjudication which results in a statement of amounts due on parts of the claims from each party may not be capable of enforcement as a money award.
