The RICS construction faculty plans to put itself back at the heart of the industry by concentrating on measurement methods, in particular the fundamentals of cost and value. Initiatives in the pipeline include a new standard method of measurement, a new standard for measuring railway building costs, a new approach to PFI procurement and an overhaul of the APC.
