New oil storage regulations in force

New oil storage regulations in force - 2005 - Facilities Management 12(12) September 2005, 6(1) .

Strict antipollution requirements came into force from 1 September 2005, affecting anyone who stores more than 200 litres of oil in outside tanks or containers. Fines of up to £20 000 can be imposed on those failing to comply with the new requirements. The article lists the recommendations made by the Environment Agency and Oil Care Campaign.
