Compares the qualification routes for solicitors and surveyors. Looks at changes to solicitors' professional education proposed in the Law Society's training framework review but not yet implemented. The solicitor's training contract may possibly be remodelled as work-based learning, an approach already embraced within surveyors' professional education. Many solicitors however are happy with the current training and education model.
