HSE and the Local Authorities Coordinators of Regulatory Services (LACoRS) have launched a joint project focused on developing closer partnerships to improve health and safety. 17 major companies have been invited to take part in the project, known as LOPP (Large Organisation Project Pilot) which aims to present a more coherent customer-focussed face to large organisations, to secure improvements in health and safety outcomes, and to explore whether these organisations are interested in formal recognition of good health and safety performance, and how this could be achieved.
