Outlines the findings of the first UK private property investor survey carried out by "Property Week" and online investor forum Propex/Primepitch. The profile of a typical UK private property investor is: 35-50 years old, lives in a house worth more than £1m, does not rate conferences and exhibitions that tell you how to invest in property and is in the market to buy in 2006. Surveyors made up nearly half of the survey group and developers 25%.
