Argues that the costs of adjudications, particularly adjudicator's and legal fees, have increased disproportionately for low-value disputes, and that it is no longer cost-effective to go to adjudication for claims of £50,000 or less. An interactive web-based programme has now been developed to help small contractors conduct their own disputes through the adjudication process.
