A survey compiled by Construction News from HSE statistics reveals that violations of health and safety practices are still common in the construction industry. The survey looked at both enforcement actions and health and safety prosecutions in the last five years. Medium-sized and regional contractors top the list, with the lowest safety score, whilst the major contractors are generally in the bottom half of the table.
