Catch'em if you can - 2006 - Estates Gazette (0608) 25 February 2006, 166-167(2) .

Considers what LPA receivers really do. LPA receivers are appointed under the Law of Property Act 1925 by lenders to recover their money secured against a property, money which they have not been able to get back for whatever reason. Discusses why the current market is ripe for increased LPA work: yields cannot reduce any further; in the existing conditions there are many situations where there is actually a surplus to be handed back to the customer, and the impact of the Enterprise Act 2002 is yet to be fully felt.
