Europe is beginning to show some signs of economic improvement and many analysts anticipate the growth to be stronger in 2006 than in recent years. However, its strength is dependent on the export markets of other countries such as the United States, China and Japan to increase employment levels and boost consumer confidence. It is expected that the UK will see a real estate investment trust (REIT) structure in the wake of its introduction to France, the Netherlands and Belgium.
