Expert guidance - 2006 - EMIS Property Service 4(3) 2006, 6-7(2) .

Reviews the increasing number of protocols governing the preparation of expert evidence in the property field, some within and some without the Civil Procedure Rules. Covers guidance on giving evidence in court, key practice points and recent case law. Concludes that there is now a great deal of guidance available to experts and to those who instruct them and the guidance is sufficiently complete with relatively few practice points remaining to be decided. Further guidance as to the impartiality of the evidence given by an expert is likely to be forthcoming.
