Discusses the code of good corporate governance proposed by key players in the European property industry which was debated at the 2006 MIPIM property conference. The proposed voluntary ethical code has its roots in the German corporate governance initiative launched in 2002. Lists the 10 German principles of corporate governance. Many at MIPIM however did not feel that a formalised yet unenforceable code was necessary.
