Orders in the year to February 2006 rose by 8% compared with the previous twelve months, whilst orders in the three months to February 2006 rose by 9% compared to the same period in 2005, and by 1% compared to the previous three month period. Decreases in private and public housing and infrastructure orders were offset by increases in other sectors.
