Reports on commercial property performance in March 2006 as assessed by the latest "IPD UK monthly index". Total returns on UK commercial property were 2% in March. Capital value growth over the first quarter 2006 was 3.1%. The office sector with a 5.4% total first quarter return outperformed the other sectors and saw a 0.5% growth in rental values, the strongest in this sector since 2000. Graphs and Table.
