Reports on the restoration of the Huddersfield Narrow Canal, carried out under a framework contract which covers the maintenance and upgrade of the entire canal network in northern England. The work involved excavation of the canal bed, installation of a drainage blanket and impermeable liner, rebuilding of washwalls, towpath construction and reinstatement.
