Comments upon the review looking at how organisations such as the ODPM, English Partnerships, and the Housing Corporation can contribute to the delivery of sustainable communities. The process could produce genuine added value by producing more innovative financing structures and allowing greater scope to local authorities in their housing and regeneration roles. It is, however, vital that business continuity is preserved, so that the various organisations still deliver their programmes and maintain lender confidence.
