In 2005, 35 funds were launched on the INREV database. This was the lowest since 1998. 15 of them were core, 15 value added, and five opportunity. Nine funds with a combined gross asset of 1.6bn euros are scheduled to close in 2006. Most of them are core and target either diversified or retail assets. By 2014, 207 funds are planned to close.
