Reports the findings of a survey by "Property Week" and online investor forum Propex. Investors, mainly private or working on behalf of private property companies, are unhappy with the private treaty marketplace. Less than 1% of respondents said they believed the marketplace operated with an acceptable level of transparency. Two-thirds said it took more than a month to complete the average acquisition or sale. Around half would consider buying and selling small commercial property investments on online auction sites.
