Looks at the collapsed as-built method of delay analysis, which relies upon the use of the as-built programme. Identified delays are subtracted from a logically linked as-built programme to determine the earliest date on which the contractor could have completed, but for the delay events. As this approach considers what actually happened, rather than what might have occurred, it is particularly appropriate for retrospective delay analysis, and projects of a linear sequential nature.
