Summarises some points of law prompted by three recent cases. "Jones v Cleanthi" ([2005] EWHC 2646 (QB)) concerns the extinguishment of an easement impliedly by statute. "Carter v Cole" ([2006] EWCA Civ 398, L133715) concerns a dispute relating to the repair of a right of way. "Kent v Kavanagh" ([2006] EWCA Civ 162, L133943) concerns the continuation of an implied easement following enfranchisement of adjacent properties, and involved analysis of the Law of Property Act 1925 s62.
