Reports on the design and development of the United Kingdom's first Aquifer Thermal Energy Storage system, which has been installed on a social housing project in West London. The system removes groundwater from an aquifer and uses it to provide both space heating in the winter and cooling in the summer, before returning the water via another borehole to the aquifer.
