Whilst Ferrovial's acquisition of BAA is almost certain to have some impact on previously announced capital investment plans for expansion at Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted, there are plans to expand and improve facilities at a number of regional airports. These include the construction of new runways and terminals, together with the refurbishment and expansion of existing infrastructure.
