Costs rise but labour prices remain static - 2006 - Construction News (6973) 29 June 2006, 17(1) .

Figures from the EC Harris/"Construction News" Contractors Input Cost Index show that input costs in the year to June 2006 rose by 2.2%, although there was a slight fall over the last quarter. Labour rates were up 2.7% on the previous year and materials prices up 2.1%. Graphs and table provide mean prices for labour and materials across UK regions.
