Points out that whilst it is sensible for expert witnesses to familiarise themselves with courtroom procedures and roles before giving evidence, it is crucial that this process does not cross over the line to become witness coaching, which is not allowed. General principles and guidelines for witness training were set out in "R v Momodou" ([2005] EWCA Crim 177, unreported) and "Ultraframe (UK) Ltd v Fielding and others" ([2005] EWHC 1638 Ch, unreported).
