FIMBRA revises "best advice" rule - 1988 - Financial Adviser 14/1/88 p1 and 6(2) .

There concern among brokers over FIMBRA `s decision to amend its " best advice " rule. The rule now states that an adviser must recommend the investment most suitable to the client, in other words, advisers will be obliged to recommend products which they cannot sell themselves.
