Reports that the procurement policy issued by the Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) commits the ODA to working in partnership with its supply chain. The choice of the NEC3 contract promotes this collaborative approach, in that it commits the parties to resolve problems as they arise, and also requires the setting up of a disputes resolution board. The ODA is refusing to commit to prices for any of the venues, but is confident that construction costs will not spiral out of control, in contrast with other major projects.
