Reports on the attempt by the parent company of collapsed electrical retailer, PowerHouse, to go ahead with its Company Voluntary Arrangement (CVA) to avoid paying a large proportion of rent owed to landlords. Following the collapse, and with PowerHouse now in the hands of an administrator, landlords are hopeful that the CVA will be dropped and parental guarantees on the 31 stores will be reinstated. However, many in the industry hope for the court case to continue in order to obtain a definitive ruling.
