Explains how resurrecting the abandoned Victorian Kingsland Viaduct will aid the delivery of the East London Line extension. The work will involve laying new rail along the viaduct from a new station at Dalston, linking into the existing East London Line at Shoreditch. The line will also be extended south from New Cross to Crystal Palace and a total of 21 bridges will need refurbishment or replacing.
