Orders in the year to July 2006 rose by 8% compared with the previous 12 months. Orders in the three months to July rose by 6% compared to the same period in 2005 and by 16% compared with the previous three month period. In the three months to July 2006, there were increases in all sectors except for public housing, public non-housing and private industrial.
