The New Zealand experience of the right of third-party appeal - 2006 - Scottish Planning and Environmental Law (116) August 2006, 78-79(2) .

As the Planning (Scotland) Bill progresses through the Scottish Parliament, it is inevitable that there will be renewed calls for the introduction of third-party rights of appeal. This article examines the experience of third-party appeal in New Zealand using it as a case study due to the similarties with Scotland in population and land diversity.
