Growth in labour rates slows down across UK - 2006 - Construction News (6986) 28 September 2006, 16(1) .

Figures from the EC Harris/"Construction News" Contractors Input Cost Index show that input costs in the year to September 2006 rose by 4.2%, and by 1.2% over the last quarter. Labour rates increased by 2.6% over the year with materials prices 6% higher than in September 2005. Graph and table provide mean prices for labour and materials across UK regions.
