The latest Experian Business Strategies' "Focus survey of construction activity" reveals continued growth in August, with the overall activity index rising one point to 56. August's results reveal reasonable optimism across the sectors, with the only decline seen in the non-residential sector's activity index. With regards to tender enquiries and employment prospects, indices rose in all three sectors. Graphs.
