Henry Boot heads the top 15 construction companies, ranked by 2005 profit margin. The survey from financial analyst Plimsoll shows Henry Boot with a margin of 30% based on sales of £101m. ESH Holdings were runners up with Persimmon in third place. The survey reveals that housebuilders and developers, or companies with a key interest in this area, outstrip contractors in terms of profit as a percentage sale.
