The latest Experian Business Strategies' "Focus survey of construction activity" reveals continued growth in September 2006, with the overall activity index rising for the third month in a row to 58. The non-residential sector was the best performer, with an activity index value of 60, orders value of 82 and tenders value of 65. Employment prospects in the residential sector were weakest, but remained strong for non-residential and civil engineering.
