Rollout for standard planning application form [electronic resource]

From October 2007, local planning authorities in England will have to use the National Standard Planning Application Form (1APP) to submit a planning application for most types of consent (excluding minerals consent and building control applications). The use of 1APP should speed up the planning process and enable planning services to be provided online, in conjunction with the Planning Portal. Phased implementation starts in February 2007.
