Concerned a dispute between a commercial landlord and tenant about the correct basis for valuing a premises based on the wording of the lease which gave the impression that the property should be used as a petrol filling station. The defendant claimed that there was scope in the lease for interpretation that the site could be used for something other than a petrol station. "Held": The claim was allowed as it was decided that the lease could not be construed in the wide manner contended for by the defendant.
