New statistics from the Construction Skills Network reveal that there are over 7 500 new construction projects anticipated from 2007 until the end of 2012, with a total value of nearly £190bn. Top future projects include Heathrow Terminal 5, Hounslow, Barracks Development, Aldershot, and a waste water project, Crawley. To manage this future demand, ConstructionSkills is urging employers to consider their approach to training and retaining staff.
