The latest Experian Business Strategies' "Focus survey of construction activity" reveals sustained growth in October 2006, with the activity index at 58 for the second month in a row. The only sector to see any significant change in October 2006 was civil engineering, with its activity index rising by two points to 67. Respondents' confidence in the future was slightly down on September 2006.
