The Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors Building Cost Index shows long term fluctuations in general building costs in the major Australian cities; Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Hobart and Perth. The index runs from July 1974 to October 2007 (forecast). Also provides detailed current construction costs with a summary of market conditions for the Australian cities at September 2006.
