Leading industry bodies co-operate on health and safety [electronic resource]

In the spirit of the forthcoming Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007, the Construction Confederation and the Specialist Engineering Contractors have signed a statement of intent to collaborate to improve health and safety on construction sites. The organisations will tackle slips, trips and falls on site and will work together on practical guidance on meeting core criteria for assessing contractor competence.
