Reports on the world's first virtual reality building site, based in the Netherlands. The Building Management Simulation Centre (BMSC) combines actors, sound effects and virtual technology to help trainee site managers learn their trade. The BMSC deals with the consequences of management decisions, giving trainees the chance to see the results of their mistakes. The first British BMSC is due to open at Coventry University in autumn 2008. Article includes feedback from users of the Netherlands BMSC.
