The Joseph Rowntree Housing Trust has unveiled plans for Britain`s first `continuing care community` for elderly people in Yorkshire. Residents will pay an initial fee and be guaranteed whatever nursing care they need on site for the rest of their lives. The scheme is expected to cost £15m to develop.
